The Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing’s offices are open and serving our customers through our online licensing resources, via e-mail and telephone, and by limited in-person appointments. Please note, walk-in assistance is not available.

Use Labor’s Central Scheduling System to meet with a representative from one of our boards or commissions. Please select the type of appointment you need from our list of available in-person services using the drop-down menu on the scheduler. You will receive an e-mail confirming the date and time of your appointment.
Appointments are available Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at our offices located at 1100 N. Eutaw Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early before your scheduled appointment time.
Overseeing 21 licensing boards, commissions and programs appointed by the Governor, the Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing is responsible for regulating the activities of more than 255,000 individuals and businesses across 25 professions.
The Division's mission is to help foster economic growth by assisting our customers in a timely, professional manner while protecting the health, safety and welfare of the public by assuring that our licensees have met a standard of expertise.
From the time you wake up in the morning until you go to sleep at night, you will likely have come into contact with one of our licensees. We are focused on making sure that these services are provided to our citizens by competent, duly licensed professionals. We strive to provide these licensing services in a customer-friendly and efficient manner.
